Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 June 2026

Your files never leave your device. FreePDF opens, edits, annotates, signs and saves your PDFs entirely inside your web browser. Your documents are never uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on our servers.

This Privacy Policy explains how FreePDF (a project of Native AI, ABN 32 261 010 254) handles personal information at freepdf.com.au. Native AI is the data controller.

1. Your PDF files

All PDF processing happens locally in your browser. We have no access to the contents of any file you open in FreePDF, and we never receive, see, or keep your documents.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use it

Where a legal basis is required (e.g. under the GDPR) we rely on your consent (newsletter) and our legitimate interests (improving and securing FreePDF).

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We use a small number of trusted providers:

5. Cookies

We use cookies for analytics and basic site functionality. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings.

6. Data retention

We keep your newsletter email only until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form for a limited period.

7. International transfers

Providers such as Formspree and Google operate overseas, so some data may be processed outside Australia, with reasonable safeguards in place.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we hold. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or unsubscribe, using our contact form. Australian users can complain to the OAIC; EU/UK users have GDPR rights.

10. Children

FreePDF is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 16.

11. Changes & contact

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version. For any privacy request, contact Native AI through our contact form.
